This place has the best seafood in town! completely delicious, as well as a great service. This is one of my favorites. If you are intolerant to some food (ex. lactose) let them know and they'll help you with your order.
Also, the restaurant has a pool that you are allowed to use if you go there to eat. If you have kids, they have a small pool and a bigger pool.

This place is a hotel, but their restaurant is open to public and a favorite of our North American Coco Gang. Great place to make friends while eating amazing food. On Tuesdays, they have bingo nights and it's very fun! (these are in English)

Best Gelatos in town! this ice cream store specializes on italian Ice Cream and it's very delicious. They also serve coffee and chocolate.

A great place with something different! They are an Asian street food restaurant. Their poke bowls are the best I've ever had (and for a great price) with a vegan/vegetarian option too! Besides poke they have chinese tacos, some great fries with cheese and chicken that are one of my favorites here and also rice and chop suey at a great price (and with good quality). One of my favorites.

This has been my favorite cafe since I moved to coco. Just amazing. You can choose to eat outside or inside. Great variety of juices, smoothies, coffee, tea, Cold coffee, Milkshakes, etc. Also breakfast options such as bowls, paninis, salads, etc. They also have books! so you can read if you'd like.
A great Mexican food restaurant! literally everything is amazing, few words for this one. It's just great.

Food with a view. The lookout was featured on a Netflix show and got completely remodeled. You can see all Coco from the restaurant, it is truly amazing.

Sightseeing
This one is our local park. The statue on the pictures tells a story of love, we even have a song about it! it's called just like the park "Amor de Temporada"
Besides the statue, you can find many restaurants and bars that are right in front of the beach.
It's a beautiful place to walk too. You can also find spaces to play volleyball and a skatepark.
The street that leads to the park is full of souvenirs and little stores.

Del Coco Beach
When you go to the beach for a walk or a swim, I always recommend you go to the right side towards the end, that's the nicest side of our beach. Towards the right end, you'll also find a Platform in the middle of the water, its a little far, but it's a great spot to watch the sunset. Some people swim there, I usually recommend taking a boogie board in case you get tired or not a swimmer.
Right next to coco, Ocotal is a black sand beach about 5 minutes away from coco. Very pretty, some people go there to snorkel a bit. There's a restaurant at the beach which is a plus!

To the right of coco there's Playa Hermosa, over there the beach is bigger. The sand is a little bit clearer than coco. There are many restaurants at the beach and around town, over there you also have the local cinema. It is very peaceful and a little less crowded than coco.

Calzón de pobre, and her sister Playa Penca (which is right next to it) is a country favorite beach. They used to be empty until they became Tiktok famous. You will need a 4x4 to get there, mainly on the way back. If you don't have a 4x4 you can leave your car before the first downhill and walk down. There is a lot of walking to do, you could also rent a boat to get there. But the beaches are worth it, white sand and light blue water.

This place has a little bit of everything!
first floor they have a small Café, which I personally think is the best in town. There's a mini super (like a supermarket but with only essentials) and there are three amazing restaurants (one is asian streetfood, one is mexican and one is grill), on the second floor I believe there's a spa and a tattoo parlor.

This one is right next to El Pueblito Norte, they have two important restaurants that you can consider going to, one is Che Sirloin, which is a meats and grill food and the other is an Italian Restaurant which has been in coco for a long time! It's very recommended by everyone.

Plaza Costa Mar is really close to the house, and it has a small cafe and a burger place, which I think is important to know.

Coco chit chat
A Facebook group where all tourists that stayed forever, regular tourists and bilingual locals are. Over there you can ask anything about recommendations, ideas on where to go and boat tours too. Anything Coco related, they'll have the answer. They also post weekly activities around town. A nice group if you're staying longer than two nights.
