Fantastic 1 km stretch of beach great for walking, surfing, surf kayaking, walking the dog or sea angling. Great views of the County Londonderry and Inishowen Coasts. Toilet facilities available on the promenade.
Just a 25 minute walk from my property.

Barmouth Road nature reserve is a great place for birdwatching. The National Trust operate a small bird-hide for which access can be arranged in advance.

Fantastic beach connecting with Downhill and Magilligan Beaches. In total over 7 miles of beach stretch from Downhill Demesne to Magilligan Point. Magilligan Strand is only open when the red flags are not flying at the military base.
