Nice park with a splash pad, playground, roller hockey rink, tennis courts and hiking trails that lead into the arboretum which is a nice walking area and open field for picnics. The playground pics are outdated on this. The playground part is brand new now.

Good local brewery in downtown Southern Pines. There is another one about a mile away from this location where they actually brew the beer but this location is a lot more fun!
