I love their food. They offer meat and fish dishes as well vegetarian and vegan. They have lots of outdoor sitting area with lovely trees over looking the beautiful Tlaquepaque shops. It"s very relaxing.

Sightseeing
It is a special place with a large stuppa, a huge Buddha and shaded outdoor seating where you can meditate. You can take a short hike to a Medicine Wheel. From there you can also hike up Chimney Rock and Thunder Mountain. It is super peaceful there. A healing place.

It is a chapel high in the red rocks with incredible 360 views of the red rocks. Inside the chapel it feels very healing. Some of my friends have had mystical visions inside the chapel.

Boynton Canyon trail has trees that shade some of your hike that is nice in summer. The lookout view is only 30 minutes max, but you do have to climb up, but its not to bad and then you get 360 degree views and can bask in the vortex healing energy. It is definitely one of my favorite trails.

Thunder Mountain Trail is next to the Chimney Rock Trailhead. Only a 15 minute walk or 3 minute drive from my house. It has great views and you can decide how far you want to hike. Some Bikers do go on the trail and I did see one girl all off her bike into the spiky bush that kept her from falling down the ravine. There are lots of protruding rocks and even on foot you must be aware. But it is fun and the views are great.

Thunder Mountain RoadThunder Mountain Trail is next to the Chimney Rock Trailhead. Only a 15 minute walk or 3 minute drive from my house. It has great views and you can decide how far you want to hike. Some Bikers do go on the trail and I did see one girl all off her bike into the spiky bush that kept her from falling down the ravine. There are lots of protruding rocks and even on foot you must be aware. But it is fun and the views are great.
It is a vortex point. You do a lot of climbing up but then the views are incredible.

Downtown Cottonwood is only 20minutes from here and they have a quaint uptown area. You could stop at it on your way to visit Jerome.

It is easy walking with some shade trees to see the ancient ruins. I took my sister there and we really enjoyed it. It's about 42 minutes from my home.

City/town information
Jerome is an old mining town. I recommend going to the Museum there where they show a humorous but informative video of the history of the town. Lots of cute shops. It's only 37 minutes from here.

Bring layers of warm and light weight clothing.
We can get extremes of temperatures here. And sometimes you get warm while hiking and need to take a layer off, but then if the sun drops it can get very cold.
