Call ahead and book a tour of the distillery. It has been completely renovated back to how it used to be. The cafe serves light snacks.

Beautiful priory with William Morris tapestry. The nearby castle Naworth Castle is beautiful. There is a lovely walk along the river and this is near to Hadrian's Wall. Nearby Walton village is a lovely stop as well with a nice cafe.

A lovely 2 mile walk around a Tarn teeming with wild life. Great for children to run around. You can hire paddle boats, have a coffee and there is icecream too.
