Located about 10 miles down the road, Santee State Park is a perfect outing for those looking to be with nature. Many trails to choose from, all different skill levels. Our favorite is the 7 mile bike/walking trail, and the Sink Hole Trail (easy, good for kids but look for gators!) There’s so much history here too! The park offers boating, hiking, camping, birding, canoeing and kayaking.

Indian Bluff Recreation Park
157 State Rd S-38-1641Indian Bluff is a local favorite. Within only a few miles from the property, there’s a beautiful wooded trail that leads to a gorgeous cypress tree beach. It’s perfect for having a peaceful moment in nature or a spot for the kids to be wild and free! Picnic and park area overlooks Lake Marion. There’s also a boat launch.
