Although you can no longer reach the glacier from the Visitors Center, the walk is nice. Depending on the time of year you can see Salmon, Deer, Bears, Goats, and of course Dogs.

Must Have's
Juneau is a temperate rain forest, so be prepared to get wet. I mean it, it rains a lot here. Make sure to bring a rain jacket, rain pants, and an extra sweatshirt (its cooler than you think). Rain boots are also a good idea.
