If you are a lover of the mountains and hiking, Vallecitos is the perfect place to train yourself. This Natural Park called Cordón del Plata is 12 km away from the house and you can easily reach 3000 m asl by car, so don't underestimate the difficulties you may suffer such as headaches or breath shortness. Nevertheless, if you don't push yourself too hard, you can reach the Veguitas Camp after a 1-hour walk and enjoy the beauty of the Cordón del Plata range. You must register your entrance at the park ranger's office. There are some mountain huts where you can have lunch or drink a coffee.
