Hands down best pizza in town. Big thin NY style slices with fresh toppings for any taste. Perfect place to take out and bring back to the cabin as it is only about 5-minutes from our door to the restaurant.

Not fancy, but a great little hole in the wall breakfast spot. Have not tried lunch here but on a week long stay I'd say we do breakfast at BumbleBee 2-3 mornings. Short drive from the cabin, classic diner breakfast with great selection and not expensive. As you head towards town it'll be up on a hill on the lefthand side before you get to Ingles Grocery. It is in a little strip mall but don't let that fool you, you won't be disappointed.

Short drive from the cabin, classic diner breakfast with great selection and not expensive. As you head towards town it'll be up on a hill on the lefthand side before you get to Ingles Grocery. It is in a little strip mall but don't let that fool you, you won't be disappointed.
Outdoor Activities
There are endless opportunities to get outside and explore! I'm highlight some of my favorite outdoor activities within just a short drive of the cabin.
If you're looking to fly fish while in town, look no further than this place. Offering wading and float trips down the Toccoa River. Guides are excellent and very helpful, even for beginners.

Blood Mountain Overlook
Appalachian National Scenic TrailGreat picture opportunities and a decently challenging hike.
One of my favorite waterfalls in the area. Fall Branch Falls is about 20-25 minutes from our cabin but easy to get to. From the parking lot you'll need to hike about 1/2 mile to the falls and it is a moderate uphill climb there, but downhill on the way back! Plenty of levels to the falls to sit on rocks, wade in the small pools, or just take pictures. Very well marked trail and signs will point you right to the falls, or just follow the sound!

From the parking lot you'll need to hike about 1/2 mile to the falls and it is a moderate uphill climb there, but downhill on the way back! Plenty of levels to the falls to sit on rocks, wade in the small pools, or just take pictures. Very well marked trail and signs will point you right to the falls, or just follow the sound!
This one is a bit of a drive (about 45-minutes from our cabin) but plenty to see and do to make a day of it. This 233-acre state park is massive and includes a gorgeous 22-acre lake. Sitting right at the base of Blood Mountain, the views are spectacular. There are trails to hike, kayak and canoes to rent, and a decent little beach area if you just want to relax. Be sure and check out the waterfall on site as well. The park admission is free but they do charge $5 to park. I don't typically like to suggest places outside of 30-minutes or so but you won't be disappointed with the slightly longer commute here.

405 Vogel State Park RdThis one is a bit of a drive (about 45-minutes from our cabin) but plenty to see and do to make a day of it. This 233-acre state park is massive and includes a gorgeous 22-acre lake. Sitting right at the base of Blood Mountain, the views are spectacular. There are trails to hike, kayak and canoes to rent, and a decent little beach area if you just want to relax. Be sure and check out the waterfall on site as well. The park admission is free but they do charge $5 to park. I don't typically like to suggest places outside of 30-minutes or so but you won't be disappointed with the slightly longer commute here.
