The tube is the fastest way to get around town
Not all tube stations have lifts - instead only stairs and\or escalators - so make sure to check before you travel if you require step free access.
If you can afford to splash some cash Black Cabs are a fast way to travel too as the drivers can use bus lanes unlike Uber drivers. But be prepared to pay a little more.
The bus can be reliable and fast but is often hit and miss so if you are in a rush use the tube. Otherwise the front row at the top of the bus is a great way to see some of London if you can go at a slower pace!
