A well marked trail and used by those who love to be challenged by long distance walking or some wild riding. there are so many routes off it and onto it you can almost guarantee to see no-one else for hours.

Interesting castle - original 'keep' high up on the banks of the River Tweed just west of Peebles- damaged by Cromwell's canon balls. Not often open to the public but it is easy to walk around it's exterior and to admire it's amazing construction.
