Trusso is a designated protected territory, known as a place of unique alpine landscape, historical villages, glaciers and mineral springs, etc... A pleasant walk in an almost abandoned valley surrounded by glacier peaks is located some 20 kilometers south of Stepantsminda, next to the Cross Pass.

Trusso is the name of river Teregi’s upstream alpine valley. Trusso is a designated protected territory, known as a place of unique alpine landscape, historical villages, glaciers and mineral springs, etc... A pleasant walk in an almost abandoned valley surrounded by glacier peaks is located some 20 kilometers south of Stepantsminda, next to the Cross Pass.

The summit name is Mkinvartsveri, (in Georgian means "Ice Peak"). The summit lies directly to the west of the town of Stepantsminda and is the most prominent geographic feature of the area. Mount Mkinvartsveri (Mt.Kazbek) altitude 5047m.

If tracking and climbing is your dedication and you searching for breathtaking views, the spirit of mythology, and romantic adventures then you should definitely visit Kazbegi.
The summit name is Mkinvartsveri, (in Georgian means "Ice Peak"). The summit lies directly to the west of the town of Stepantsminda and is the most prominent geographic feature of the area. Mount Mkinvartsveri (Mt.Kazbek) altitude 5047m.
Mountain Chaukhi, located in the eastern part of the Kazbegi area. Chaukhi is a big rocky mountain with 14 climbing summits, at a maximum altitude is 3800 Meters.
Technical difficulties of the climbing roots varies from easy (2+UIAA grade) to most difficult (6+ UIAA grade). The Base camp is located at 2550 meters on grassland, between 2 rivers next to the small lake, with very beautiful views.
