The only sit down restaurant open year round here in Healy. Cafe is open at noon, 7 days a week. Their burgers and sandwiches with hand cut fries hit the spot. "Burgers, Pasta, & Pizza. Nothing more, nothing less." The Pub opens at 4pm where you'll find a mix of local characters.

The closest spot where (when weather cooperates) you'll be able to view the mountain itself, Denali. In the winter the road is only maintained for the first few miles but this still provides epic views of the mountain on a clear day.

One of the best spots for Aurora Viewing (besides the windows of the Dens, duh!). The Stampede Road is just north of Healy and offers expansive views of the sky with no light pollution.

This gas station has a laundry facility in the basement if you are in need. $5 for washers, $2.50 for dryers operated by tokens. Hot snacks and liquor store make this a great place to stop before venturing out for the day.
