An all time favorite on MDI. Go early to avoid the lines, and then head to Bass Harbor lighthouse for some great sunset photos. The best vantage point is actually found by heading to back of the parking lot and following the short trail to the rocks. Be sure to wear good shoes to navigate the rock scramble!

There's usually sangria or micheladas, there's always sparkling wine and beer and rhubarb lemonade. It's really casual and really fun.

The views are incredible and the trail is very reasonable for visitors of all ages. Hot tip, you can park at the end of the Schooner Head Trail parking lot to avoid having to walk across Sand Beach to access the trail.

Jordan Stream Path is a beautiful walk along the stream from Jordan Pond towards Seal Harbor. You can take off from the bottom of the stairs behind Jordan Pond House and follow the path to Cobblestone Bridge. Absolutely gorgeous and a great way to spend 60-90 minutes while waiting for your table at Jordan Pond House.
