The entrance to Lol-Ha Restaurant is just past the OXXO on your right. A favorite spot to spend the day. Food, drinks and service is excellent. Enjoy a meal or just drinks in the restaurant with the beautiful views of Akumal Bay. Then visit a guide at one of the Tour stands and take a snorkeling tour to see sea turtles and many other fish near the reef.
Lol-ha

We love and visit Taverna multiple times during our stays. The pasta is fresh and the sauce is perfect! Also fresh fish, seafood and steaks. Well made drinks, friendly staff and atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Be aware, this restaurant is upstairs and there is no elevator.

Taverna Akumal
We love and visit Taverna multiple times during our stays. The pasta is fresh and the sauce is perfect! Also fresh fish, seafood and steaks. Well made drinks, friendly staff and atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Clear fresh water. We find this cenote to be less crowded so the water is clearer! Be sure to take your snorkel mask, towel and a water bottle.
Remember not to wear lotions, deodorants, bug sprays or sunscreen as is damages the eco system. Even reef safe is not safe for cenotes. There is plenty of shade areas.

A new recent favorite find for us. It’s a beach club, swim beach, lagoon, and cenote all at one place. The water is clear as bath water. A must see!

This is a public beach. There is an access fee to get into the beach. Usually about $40mxn. Once in, there is food and drinks you can order from the bar or right from your beach chair.
Another great time to have your snorkel mask as there is a shallow reef not too far out with amazing coral and lots of beautiful fish. No turtles but we have seen sting rays, eagle rays, parrot fish, and many many more.

If you are looking for a beach in Tulum, Playa Paraiso has white sand, palm trees, and a beach club restaurant. You can rent sunbeds and enjoy the sun sand and water with a snack and drink. This beach can be busier to get to down the beach road but they have a parking lot with plenty of parking.
Shopping
Grocery store just north of the condo, about 15 min drive. Very clean.
Similar to a Walmart in that there is food, alcohol, clothes, appliances, etc.
It is set up like a strip mall, so there are also a few restaurants and a dive shop before you enter into the grocery store.
There is are also two money exchanges outside. The one closest to entrance is the easiest.

Similar to a Walmart in that there is food, alcohol, clothes, appliances, etc.
It is set up like a strip mall, so there are also a few restaurants and a dive shop before you enter into the grocery store.
