A short half-mile hike from the main campus of the Valle Crucis Conference Center, Crab Orchard Falls cascades, pools and eddies over a series of boulders. Continue up the mountain another 2 miles to reach Bishop's Ridge and the Hermitages. The path to Crab Orchard Falls is considered intermediate, with some steep portions. Four benches provide respite along the way.
