Here's my recommendations for food, night spots, and some other practical advice!
La Condesa is a hip and vibrant, centrally located Mexico City neighborhood. So much to do! So much to see.
Parque Mexico out front is a whole magical world unto itself: Live music, dog walkers, skateboarders, fashionistas, masseuses, vendors of food and craft, movies projected, expositions, great people watching!
You're also near another lovely park, Parque Espana, and not far from the wonderful and huge Parque Chapultapec.
Aside from our recommendations list, you might also hit one of the many local Mezcalerias or Pulquerias for two classic Mexican alcoholic beverage experiences.
Don't forget the Ecobici public bikes are a great and cheap way to get around.

Right next door to the apartment is a lovely boutique hotel with a charming upper-level Mexican restaurant overlooking Parque Mexico. Great for drinks and/or a bite.

Ojo de Agua is an airy, quaint spot with its own little fruit and vegetable stand. You’ll find salads topped with avocado, sandwiches, acai bowls for breakfast, and refreshing smoothies. They also have lighter versions of our favorite Mexican dishes, like huevos ahogados (poached eggs in a spicy sauce) and molletes (an open-faced sandwich made with a baguette, refried beans, and queso).
