Dog friendly beach all year round! The back beach is the locals favourite spot to watch hang out. It’s a great location for a fish n chips, picnic or bbq on the beach, or you can grab some grub from one of the food shacks along the beach. Highly recommended for watching the sunset with your favourite beer or gin in a tin. Equally beautiful for the day or afternoon with the family or dogs for a beach day. There’s boat hire available too!

There’s a few little shops to mosey in and local bakers and butchers.
There’s a small local ferry that runs from the back beach in Teignmouth to the front beach in shaldon front beach, which makes for a lovely short trip across the river to exploring the other opposite town. Dogs are allowed onboard :)

The Ness has stunning views across to Teignmouth and is a dog friendly restaurant. There is a field opposite with Picnic benches if you’d prefer to bring your own grub and enjoy the views.
