This establishment used to be a food cart on Alberta Street and has blossomed into an amazing brick and mortar. They make outstanding housemade pasta dishes, creative cocktails, and some of the fanciest jello shots I've ever consumed. Tip: on Wednesday they make fried chicken sandwiches that rock worlds.

Recently Portland was named the best pizza city in America. I have no idea if that's accurate but this place is on a list and I love it. Tip: they double as a bakery in the morning called Seastar and they are a smart choice as well.

People will sometimes drive down from Vancouver (Washington) just to enjoy this frozen treat. If you're into ice cream then I'd recommend stopping by for a cone.

It's possible to walk or bicycle from here to Laurelhurst, one of my favorite parks city parks.
