Treman has the best of all the local gorges. Woods. Rock walls. Waterfall. Winding stream over stones. Just a few miles south of Ithaca. Tcat route 67 gets you there in 25 minutes.

Just outside of the city, easy to get to by car, foot or bus. Falls at bottom of park. Gorge full of round pools carved out of the rock. Swimming sometimes. A definite must see.

Easy walk to the falls. Or drive up to the overlook and see the falls from above. Great playground and lake frontage. Rim trails are a good hike. You can get there by bike on the black diamond trail from Cass park or drive.

My actual favorite place in the area. I prefer the South parking area. Hike straight back and go into the woods. Beautiful gorge. Pool for swimming. Streams. All of the things.
