A beach bar located just a 12 minute walk and 800km from the apartment, and a further 2 minute walk from one of the island's most popular beaches. Beautiful setting and suitable for everyone. Their food menu is great, high quality food plus affordable prices and friendly customer service. Choose between seated dining, to bean bags or hammocks. If you're looking for good quality and authentic Greek food then this restaurant is a must. Their menu includes all the expected Greek dishes and you can even browse their freshly cooked specials on arrival. Pavlo and his family are great hosts.

Best pizza outside of Italy (we think so). Well, they call is Pinse, but we still love it. Should you tire of the local Greek dishes and are craving some authentic Italian cuisine we cannot recommend this place more. Reservations essential during July & August. Their number can be found on google or just pop in when they open around 4pm.

If you have a car and enjoy a cocktail or two, we would put The Rooster high up on your 'must see' list. You might even think you're in Mykonos (prepare to pay Mykonos prices too!)
Located within Korous Village which is walking distance from the apartment, Samano was opened in 2020 by celebrity chef Leonidas Koutsopoulos. Defined as Gastro Dining, the food is next level here. A stunning setting for both brunch and dinner - we personally would recommend the Shashuka eggs!

Beaches
Great lunch spot that is right on the main beach and even has a pool which might be handy for families with younger children. Located 15 minutes (walking) from the apartment, and close to both the port and Main Street - so very convenient

**Requires a car, quad bike or bike to access. This spot is hard to find and could be tricky for those travelling as a group or with a young family (no nearby bathrooms or restaurants). But if you come prepared this spot makes for the perfect beach day, with bright blue clear waters, quiet beach coves and a short walk to a beautiful monastery. Directions on a smart phone usually get your here easily, but our general directions would be to head to Soros beach and then keep going on the dirty road for roughly 10 minutes.

One of the most beautiful beaches on the island - soft sand, deep water, East facing so on most days the water is calm, and you also have the added benefit of beach lounges (to rent) or trees to use for shade. The beach is located on the South East side of the Island so you will need a car to get here, or you can take the bus form the port.
Sightseeing
A visit to this 15th-century castle is a 'must' for us and is just round the corner from the apartment. A walk around the centre of the castle takes a short 5 minutes, but fantastic photo opportunities as this place looks like it's straight off a postcard.

Doors/ Doors rockbar/ The Doors is the oldest bar in Antiparos and has looked (and felt) the same for the last 40 years. Described by many as an Antiparos Institution, a visit here one evening, at the least, is a must.

Alternatively, a small fishing boat runs hourly from the port of Ag. Georgios. Despotiko is one of the lesser-known archaeological sites in Greece - with its recently discovered archaeological site including a large sanctuary of Apollo.
The caves of Antiparos are the most well-known sightseeing attraction of the Island. The caves are full of stalactites and stalagmites - the oldest is 45 million years old! Their use over the years has a deep and interesting history, detailed on their daily tours. This sight is hard to reach so we recommend taking a bus from the port of Antiparos.
