Scout is a super charming local coffee shop that has absolutely fantastic fresh baked pastries and an espresso bar. There is indoor seating with WiFi if you need a spot to work and outdoor seating for people watching. Located in the center of downtown.

City/town information
Your Chorro Creek Studio is 1/2 mile away from the heart of downtown SLO (as the locals call it). There are good eats, cute shops and the Historic Mission. Make sure to start chewing some gum and stop by bubblegum alley on Higuera street to add your piece to the wall of 'art'. Thursday nights host a large farmers market. The first Thursday of each month you can join a big group of bikers for 'bike night' and ride around town. There are many hiking trails within a few miles of your studio and the city is very biker friendly.

You can enjoy surfing, kayaking, swimming, walks on the beach, and keep an eye out for the sea otters! If you are active there is iconic scenery along highway 1 for cyclists, and you can finish it off with a run along the beach. There is a quaint town area with trinket shops, coffee, and restaurants, right on the water.

Be aware it is often very crowded during weekends, and the Spring/Summer.

Chorro neighborhood where your unit is located is a super charming place with unique houses. It is great for an afternoon walk and the Lincoln Street Deli one block away if you are craving a local favorite deli sandwich and cold beer.
