Walking distance from our place, this is a pretty easy hike. I'm pretty sure the trails are fully accessible to this point, it leads to more trails and the Hoyt Arboretum.

The Pearl District is our neighbor, it's walking distance, but easier to walk a few blocks to the trolley on Lovejoy St. The Pearl is known for small boutiques with local designers, high end restaurants, fun night clubs, and several blocked streets for outdoor partying.

This is still walking distance, but a couple neighborhoods away. Night clubs and blocked streets for the late night party scene. There are a lot homeless and drug activities going on in this area.

Fantastic food, breathtaking views, and in the heart of the shipping district! We don't have sales tax here, and last I checked this place will check shopping bags.

Trimet (public transit) or Car
The public transit system has a trip planner, which is very handy if you're interested in exploring the city this way.
We have rental bikes and scooters on the street corner 1 block away.
The parking lot across the street is $10/24hrs.
Street parking here has an app called Parking Kitty. Street parking is the lowest cost, and the app bumps you when it's time to pay again.

Portland Highlights
The waterfront is lovely, and has several bridges that are pedestrian friendly. So many amazing small restaurants it's hard to choose.
The Saturday Market is down at the waterfront under the Burnside bridge. Open year round!
Voodoo donuts is near the waterfront, many is the favorite attractions are near here.
Multnomah Falls has a decent hike to the top, beautiful views, and there are shuttles taking people up.
The Big Pink tour bus has stops a couple blocks away, for details check their website.
