Mini Transylvania Park is the only multicultural, thematic mock-up park in Romania, where visitors can see a scaled-down copy of Transylvania's most important historical buildings. The park is located in Szejkefürdő/Băile Szejke, near Székelyudvarhely/Odorheiu Secuiesc.

Natural Reserve
The lake St. Ana, located in the crater of Ciomatul Mare, is the only volcanic lake in Central and Eastern Europe, being the most visited travel destination of the Szeklerland.
The lake is fed by rainwater and snow melt. The process of sedimentation began on the northern and western edges, an increasingly thick layer of sludge covering the bottom of the lake. When the weather is fine, especially without wind, you can see bubbles of gas rising from the bottom of the lake, which are actually manifestations of post-volcanic activity.

The Red lake is one of the largest lake made by a natural dam on the territory of Romania and is part of Bicaz Gorge – Hășmaș National Park. The lake formed in 1837, when part of the Mount Ghilcoş slid down towards the foot of the Suhard massif after storms and torrential rains, blocking the Bicaz river valley.
The name of the lake, both in Romanian and in Hungarian, comes either from Mount Ghilcoş (the Killer) or from the Red stream (Verescheu). Thus, in 1864, it is mentioned as the Lake of the Red Stone, later as the Killer Lake, as well as Tăul Roşu. Since 1936, it is officially named the Red Lake (Lacu Roşu).
The red color is due to the clays rich in iron oxides, brought by the Red Creek and deposited in the lake. At the same time, the red rocks of the Suhard massif accentuate the color of the lake.
The view is spectacular due to the submerged forest, the trunks of the spruce trees still piercing the water here and there, giving the lake a unique appearance in the Romanian water landscape.
Here, a resort with the same name is built. It benefits from the subalpine climate and offers attractive trails to the amateur hikers.

The Nyerges commemorative complex marks an important moment in the history of the Szeklers, one of the last military confrontations in the Revolutionary and Independence War of 1848-1849. Here, about 200 Szekler soldiers who fought in the Hungarian revolutionary army against the imperial Tsarist and Austrian armies met their end in 1849.
In their honor, a 5.4 m high stone monument was built in 1897, the work of the Italian sculptor Poulini, who lived in Jigodin (Miercurea Ciuc).
After the year 2000, another memorial consisting of Szekler-style funerary monuments was raised on top of the mass grave, located about 100 m north of the monument.

The Franciscan church of Șumuleu Ciuc is one of the most famous architectural monuments, being the most important place of pilgrimage in Transylvania.
The main adornment of the church is the wondrous statue of the Mother of God, placed on the main altar of the church. The linden wood sculpture represents the Mother of God holding the infant Jesus, as described by the Book of Revelation - The Woman Dressed in Sun.
The sculpture, probably dating back to the 16th century, made of a linden trunk, painted and gilded, is the largest votive sculpture known in the world, having a total height of 227 cm.
Let’s not forget about the rose given by Pope Francis to the Virgin Mary of Șumuleu Ciuc/Csíksomlyó which is made of silver with 24 karat gold plated stems. It is about 84 cm tall and weighs 1,200 grams. The Golden Rose was placed next to the statue of Virgin Mary.
The Golden Rose is a symbol of joy and love, a symbol of Christ, according to old ceremonies, and thus its giving is not only a simple acknowledgment but also a mission: the honoured ones must bring Christ into the world.
You can spend a good couple of hours too around the church to visit:
- the hill of Csíksomlyó with chapels and Calvaria Stations. Most notable is the Salvator chapel
- the naturally sparkling mineral water spring and mineral water baths of Barátok Feredője
- the Franciscan Monastery, former home of Johannes Kájoni, who wrote one of the very important books on mediaeval music and also was a famous composer, organist, book printer and teacher. His statue can be seen in the monastery's courtyard. In that same courtyard you also can find some old (and interesting) sun-dials.

Although it works as a tourist observation point, that is to say, the program is in line with the needs of tourists, from the photographic point of view it is the best place to observe the bear in Transylvania and perhaps around the world.
From the closed observer, covered and created to provide safety, the bear can comfortably be observed in its natural environment, through its large glass panes, even in rainy weather.
The place is equipped with additional facilities. There is electricity, you can charge your phone or camera. It comes with heating, air conditioning and a toilet. The place also has outside reflectors suitable for observing bears at night. Here the guides can provide pleasant recreation for even 45 people.
The starting point is usually from the nearby cottage. From the cars we walk on a forest path with a slight slope of 400 meters. Since hiking is taking place in nature, it is good to prepare for an umbrella or a jacket for eventual rain.
