Our subterranean Cellar Door first opened in 2016, and has been designed by Kerstin Thompson Architects to give guests a unique insight into the wines and story of TarraWarra.
All the wines are grown and made from our 28-hectare vineyard, which is scattered across the 400-hectare property. A tasting through our range is a journey across the Estate as well as through the seasons, because each wine captures something of the essence of TarraWarra.

A favourite picnic spot in the Yarra Valley is Badger Weir Picnic Grounds, located at the end of Badger Weir Road, a 9-minute drive from the property.
Old-style shingle roof rotundas, landscaped grounds and barbeques, surrounded by the beautiful Mountain Ash trees of the Yarra Ranges National Park, this is the perfect spot to picnic with family and friends, whilst watching the local resident birdlife including the Australian King Parrot, Crimson Rosella and the Superb Lyrebird. The weir itself was constructed in 1909 and is a water catchment area for Melbourne. Enjoy a short walk around the Badger Weir:

Badger Weir via Coranderrk Track (1.1km, approx 30 minutes, Easy) - Follows vehicle track to weir)

Eating Out
The Meletos Garden is absolutely humming, with an ever-changing menu of all things Mediterranean - think fresh calamari over hot coals, marinated prawns, gyros, Chimichurri lamb-shoulder all enjoyed with a glass of wine or beer in hand whilst overlooking the best views in the region. Please note the Meletos Garden is open Saturdays & Sundays for lunch, weather dependent. Book in advance are essential to get in!
They also have the Meletos Brewery open on Saturdays & Sundays from 11am! Pop on by for a tasting paddle, a pony or a pint and some nibbles! Head Brewer Scott Howard has been busy these last few months finessing the Meletos range, as well as throwing a few crazy Sours and Amber ales into the mix!
