My favourite snorkelling spot!! Keep your eyes out for spotted Eagle Rays, nurse sharks, turtles, and a blow fish. Tidal pool in the iron shore along the beach are also fun for littel ones to explore.

If you have a full day. Take the ferry to North Caicos. Rent a car for the day. Tour North and Middle Caicos for the day and return on the ferry that evening. See what the islands were like 40 years ago.

Long Bay Beach is a Kite Boarders dream!!!! And also a nice alternative to the very touristy Grace Bay Beach. Shallow waters make this beach great for kids too. When the wind is light or blowing from the North or Northwest, Long Bay beach is the place to be.

Shallow waters make this beach perfect for little ones. Also good on windy days. Apparently the normai beach access is closed so you have to go looking for secondary bach access. But It's worth it!!!

Go here if it's windy on the North Shore. Yet another gorgeous beach. It's a bit tricky to find. Dirt parking lot on the right and a path to the beach on your left. Just past Neptune villas and las brisas restaurant.

Simeon Rugby Hole Beach
Very cool spot. Off the beaten path. Cliff jumping. Pirate cave.
Here you can rent snorkel gear and snorkel in a safe environment. The reef is protected here so you have to snorkel around it. But I've seen turtles, lobsters, tonnes of fish, a barracuda and sting rays here. They also do Snuba.

Getting Around
Take the Ferry to North Caicos and drive around North adn MIddle for the day. Explore hidden caves, old plantation ruins and beautiful beaches. It's a great day trip if you have a full day to plan something. Call the tourist board ahead of time if you plan on doing any of the tours. Wades Green Plantation and Conch Bat Caves are two. Call Pelican Car rental to meet you at North Caicos Marina with you car for the day. Pack a cooler with food and drinks.
