My favourite café in town, it cantelivers over the sea, it hasn't got railing to protect you from falling in the water, but it frames the harbour in a beautiful way. Beautiful in the morning and during the sunset has a delicious atmosphera . In the summer nights the might have jazzy live music.

From the Castle hill you will have the views onto the city and Mediterranean sea and harbour. Dont miss the little quartier to go up, with white houses and narrow stepped streets.

You can't miss it, is the old quartier on the skirtings of the Castle, you will feel like in Andalucia. It is all pedestrian and stepped. Worth to explore it is quite large, but easy to miss.

This area is very histórical, and it has many tapas bars and night bars. It is the quartier before the skirting of the castle. iIf you feel romantic, around the corner from the Cathedral you can have a drink in a beautiful place, Hotel Boutique Palacete XVII, they have a tiny cafe/bar under the stone stair case.

Altea, the white village. One of the most beautiful little towns in Spain. Have a look on Google! You can arrive there on the Tram. if you like walking, I recomend walking up to the light house in El Albir, spectacular sea views, but a long walk from Altea.

There is a beautiful rochy walk from San Joan Playa (Light House) towards Alicante, better when the sun is down, because of the heat. It is also nice to spend the day by the sea, but take the parasol !, water and food!.

Contains halls with the civilizations that lived in this area and a replica of a big boat. If there is a temporary exhibition, I recomend to pay an extre 1.5 eur aprox for the guide explanation.
