This was one of my favorite hikes and waterfalls! Super easy hike and lots of little things to check out on the way to the main falls. A little over an hour from our cottage. If you are looking for waterfalls, this is a great one.

This is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Asheville. I went years ago and it was massive and interesting and fun to see. It takes a good bit of time to see everything so plan accordingly. Also, I think getting tickets in advance is required these days!

Saluda is a small little town just outside Hendersonville. There is a waterfall that is easy to get to and it really beautiful. Main Street has a few fun shops and restaurants.

I cannot even explain how much I love this place! They always have good specials and everything on the menu is yummy!! It's all vegan and they are friendly with reasonable prices. While you are waiting for your food, check out West Village Market to get a little shopping done. This is LOCAL at it's finest.

YUM!!! Everything I have had here is really good. Whether you want a really healthy juice or a sandwich and dessert, they've got you covered. They are really close to the Whole Foods, Trader Joes, and Harris Teeter on Merrimon, so you can get your shopping done and have a snack while out! Highly recommend. Everyone who works there is super friendly and helpful too! :)

Well, I love tea. .....and I love this spot! They not only have a huge tea menu, but also lots of yummy vegan options on their menu!
