BEST Ice Cream!!
This is the cutest fairy farm. It serve fresh ice cream and has a cute photo op for the kids with a huge cow out front. Call before going, but they also offer a tour of the dairy farm on weekends!

Safari and Petting Zoo!
This zoo is located one mile from the cottage. It has a petting zoo for llamas, goats and free range chickens, along with a drive thru safari! You can also sign up in advance to hold a sloth, have a “wolf encounter” or do flamingo or kangaroo yoga. It’s a hidden gem for sure!!

You can also sign up in advance to hold a sloth, have a “wolf encounter” or do flamingo or kangaroo yoga. It’s a hidden gem for sure!!
Thrill seekers unite!
Our kids(6&8) beg to do this roller coaster every time we visit Helen. It’s a gentle coaster that literally “coasts” down the mountain in a sort of bobsled. You have complete control on the speed with your brakes. It’s a blast!!

8409 S Main StOur kids(6&8) beg to do this roller coaster every time we visit Helen. It’s a gentle coaster that literally “coasts” down the mountain in a sort of bobsled. You have complete control on the speed with your brakes. It’s a blast!!
Cabbage Patch Kids...a little girl’s dream!
Admission is free to the Hospital and there are “live” births of the Cabbage Patch kids each hour. The nurse even lets the kids in the audience name the newborn baby and have the opportunity to adopt it and take it home. Definitely a fun indoor activity for a rainy day!

300 NOK DrAdmission is free to the Hospital and there are “live” births of the Cabbage Patch kids each hour. The nurse even lets the kids in the audience name the newborn baby and have the opportunity to adopt it and take it home. Definitely a fun indoor activity for a rainy day!
Easy hike with kids!
We love this hike. It’s a simple, well marked, trail that leads down to a waterfall with great photo ops! Perfect for beginner hikers!!

This is our favorite winery to go to with kids in tow. There is an awesome playground and the Owner is very sweet and typically gives the kids carrots to feed the llamas on-site. No judging here if you bring the kids, which is why we are regulars!
