A big yes! Start near the middle at Hosana and ride an almost flat trail through a tunnel, past villages, across farmland, returning to Hosana for a nice meal. Hosana sometimes has live music from local musicians and a great vibe to relax the afternoon away amongst farm animals. Take your swimmers for the waterslide:)

There are many weekend markets on the North Coast - a web search will show you the dates for each town. My favourite is the Bangalow markets on the 4th Sunday of each month. Allow plenty of time as you'll want to roam through the shops in town as well. Take an appetite for the great food on offer!

Park at the Shaws Bay Hotel, take an easy flat walk along the north wall, followed by a calm relaxing dip in the bay and lay on the beach, then wrap that sarong around you and head into hotel to mix with the locals and listen to live music. Good times.

Looking for a little exercise? The Lennox Ballina Coastal Path is approx 13km long and classified easy, with a few sharp climbs. Well worth it for the views on the way and the endorphins! Can be walked or contact Ballina Byron Bike Hire for an easier option.
