The name says it all! For fans of amazing authentic, hole-in-the wall spots, this is it. I was pleasantly surprised to stumble upon this place, with a homestyle Dominican menu style reminiscent of Sophie's or Tina's in NYC.

Features numerous waterfalls, beautiful lakes, dense forests, gorgeous cliffs and ledges opening to beautiful views, clear streams cut into valleys, 35 miles of carriage roads and 50 miles of footpaths to bike, walk, hike and simply enjoy.
Visitors can also enjoy hiking, biking, swimming, picnicking, scuba-diving, rock-climbing, bouldering, boating and marveling at the scenery. Horseback riding and cross-country ski trails are available as well.

One of the oldest climbing spots in the country, the Gunks is characterized by roofs, jugs, traverses and big air. The Gunks is famous for great one-to-three-pitch climbs of all levels of difficulty.
