Not many locals even know about this hidden gem! This free park has so many peacocks and places to take pictures. Pair this park with Mount Bonnell because they are only 5 minutes apart.

After you visit the peacock farm, this is literally just a 5 minute drive to get to. It is a steep walk, but the stairs make it easy. Once you get to the top, the view is worth it!

This view is everyone's favorite! It is a great spot to see Lake Austin for pictures. On the other side of the lake, you will be able to do water sports such as jet skiing.
There is street parking, but make sure to drive slowly because there aren't any signs to indicate that the parking is for the 360 bridge. I would recommend visiting this location during the week because weekends get pretty busy.

1008 Baylor StThere is a free park designated for graffiti. It is constantly changing because artists will add new graffiti. You could bring your own spray paint and leave your mark in Austin as well!
The parking around here is a bit difficult, so I would recommend using Uber or be prepared to drive around a bit to find street parking.
The state capitol is a great place to visit and just a few blocks down, you will be in SoCo (South Congress) where you will find the stores and restaurants embodied with the quirkiness of Austin.
There is ample amount of parking meters around the capitol.

Zilker Park Boat Rentals

I would recommend checking their website for coupons or deals throughout the week. This is close to Barton Springs, so make sure to check that out as well.
Not many locals know to visit this trail. It is an easy hike and the twin falls are not too far of a walk from the parking lot. It is well worth exploring. You can even swim there, if it's warm enough!
The parking lot is just a dirt road on the side of the frontage road, so drive slowly to make sure you don't miss it. If you go visit it during the weekend, be prepared for a full parking lot.

It was a lot of fun to rent bikes around zilker park and explore the trails. They have many stations around the park to rent and to return the bikes.
