There are numerous beaches all around the Anglesey Coast. Most of the coastline is within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so you can find hidden coves as well as the popular beaches.
Porthdafarch Beach
Our Local! This is a stunning Blue Flag beach located just 5 minute walk from our centre. Ideal for families, kayakers, surfers and walkers.
From here you join the Anglesey Coastal Path. Going North it takes you to South Stack Light house (about 1 .5 hours walk) or going south head to Trearddur Bay Village (about 45 mins)
We run our coasteering adventurous activities from here.
Its a great location for a sunset photograph

Adventure
If you like being outdoors Anglesey is a natural outdoor playground and is still only 40 minutes drive from Snowdonia.
There is some epic rock climbing at Holyhead Mountains and the sea cliffs.
For watersports Anglesey is a sea kayaking mecca, the conditions at Rhosneigr make it a world class windsurfing venue plus there are numerous dive wrecks around the coast.
If you want to just enjoy the coastline then try coasteering , wild swimming or sit on top sea kayaks.
Anglesey Outdoors also boasts a whole team of activity instructors who provide high quality adventures.

There are numerous great places to eat within a short distance from Anglesey Outdoors .
As of 2021 many restaurants are not open, partially open or are offering reduced menus as they try to recover from the implications of Covid lockdown. It is often necessary to prebook and we suggest keeping an eye on social media to keep up to date with any opening hours/restrictions.
The onsite Bar and Bistro, The Paddlers Return is well known for its high quality home made food with locally sourced ingredients. The bar is relaxed and homely with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
They often traditional Pub Food plus every night there is a different meat, chicken, fish and vegetarian special.
Real Ale is mostly local from Bragdy Cybi or Purple Moose.

South Stack also boasts a wonderful reserve made up of heathland and farmland set on the dramatic sea cliffs. In spring guillemots, razorbills and puffins breed on the iconic cliffs. The RSPB Ellins Tower observatory and visitor centre and cafe are well worth a visit.

It is also a sanctuary for red squirrels with one of the largest communities on the island.
