One of our favourite and most pretty villages, eat in the main square over looking the chateau, or walk around the chateaus grounds. Langeais has a fantastic market on a Sunday morning of food and crafts.

A beautiful zoo for adults and kids, built into the old quarry the enclosures are large and the animals have so much space to move around. You can eat in the restaurant with all the giraffes below or walk around the huge aviary with all the birds flying around you

A great old town to walk around, 30 mins drive but well worth it, lovely restaurants and the old fort to walk around at the top of the hill. They also have a market on a Thursday morning which is well worth a visit.

A great little restaurant and also water park on the lake, kids can play on the inflatable assault course or go paddle boarding whilst you can watch from the farmers bar. Great fun and nice and casual
