Great option for seeing fall colors. Several hiking options including reaching the top of a 14er if that’s a CO visit goal.
Note: you cannot go over the whole pass during winter months but you can still get to some of the lower trails.

Has a meadow trail that’s easier as well as some incline through the trees later on. Unless you’re looking to do some off-roading, don’t follow GPS, easier route is to turn on 64 at the Ace Hardware and follow it around to the trailhead parking.
