Amazing draft beers, craft sausages of every recipe that will knock you out and hand cut Belgian fries - all in the middle of the Little Tokyo Arts District and the shadow of the Southern California Institute of Architecture. Damn, this place is good. You have to wait in line, order and pay, and then grab community seating in the parlor room but it's well worth it.

Damn these tamales are great. Here in LA you can get homemade tamales from cooks parked in secret spots but these are made to order and you can get take-out too. This is real Mexican food from an iconic neighborhood spot. Nothing fancy, only delicious and super deal.

There are a lot of folks who hit up Cole's but only the smartest go for the Happy Hour when the Old Fashioned's are made with care ... and slowly ... and the food is almost half off and just as good.
