We enjoy eating here. The owner and his son interact with the diners. The food is local and delicious. If your eating dinner in July or August, I would recommend reservations or you may not get a table as it is a small place.

This is our favorite place to take friends and for Sunday afternoon dinners after shopping the market in Espéraza. The views are breathtaking. The pizza is delicious and the mussels are magnificent. However, the frites (french fries) are some of the best we have ever had. Soaked in the white sauce of the mussels is the best way to eat the frites. Also, parking beside the restaurant keeps you from having to hike up the last part of the mountain.

This small church beside the road is quite a way from our house. However, if you are looking for a great day trip, this church with its beautiful medieval frescoes and sense of holiness as well as Lagrasse, France and Chateaux Villerouge makes for a great day trip.
