Sjusjøen and it’s surroundings

I consider this by far the best place in Norway for cross country skiing. Perfectly groomed tracks for hundreds(!) of kilometers every year, with a very long season. We have had guests coming all the way from Utah(!) because of this place’s reputation!
At Kroksjøen you have a perfect spot for snow-kiting, and the terrain is during the summer perfect for mountain-biking, hiking and orienteering.

The Olympic venue 1994 for downhill skiing. A real challenge for the professional skier. Unfortunately a bit long drive from our cabin, but worth a day-trip if you plan to spend a week or so...
