Newington is a beautiful hidden gem tucked between Portsmouth, Dover, and Greenland NH. You will see a blend of old, and new homes, old cemeteries, farm lands, wild life, beautiful areas of waterfront.
We feel very country, but another area of our town has wonderful shopping areas. We have Newington crossing with Kohls, Trader Joe’s, Barnes and noble, Fandango Movie theater, staples. The fox run mall, several restaurants to enjoy.
Next to this area just up the road in Portsmouth you will find additional shopping including Whole Foods, TJ Maxx, Marshals, Market Basket, Burlington coat factory, a rite aid, several food spots and more!
If you head farther into Portsmouth you will find dozens of incredible restaurants, night life, historical spots, bowling, and theatre’s.
Just asking around Portsmouth is a treat! It’s simply beautiful, rich with history, strawberry bank, Prescott park with summer plays, and entertainment !
