Lyme Regis is a lovely seaside town packed full of nice independent shops, cafes, fudge shops and pubs as well as a few big street brands such as Costa, Tesco express and Sea Salt and of course Fossil Shops.

A small car park at the pebble end of the town with a few nice pubs nearby - The Pilot Boat has a nice raised terrace and the newly refurbished Rock Point Inn has a patio overlooking Lyme Bay

The Volly is the locals go to evening pub (but it’s not localised ) and everyone is very friendly - food is great but small menu , highly recommend their Fish and Chips . Lots of choice of beers , draft and cask. Always a good atmosphere.

150 m from the house walking down the Lynch ( the raised path along mill stream that runs outside the house ) amazing locally brewed beers and not silly prices like some of the Lyme pubs

Nice menu ranging from seafood to pizzas baked in their own clay oven .
Terrace area very nice in good weather
Beer is expensive , think £5.80 a pint !! But overall experience at the Pilot is always good
