The center's interpretive building contains a plethora of interactive, hands on displays for kids of all ages. The relatively new building addition includes the Thrivent Financial Art Gallery, which features changing art and natural history exhibits. 3 miles of Hiking and snowshoe trails traverse the Wolf River bottomland hardwood forest, a 13-acre prairie planting includes over 120 species of flowers and grasses, and visitors can get scenic views at the top of Mosquito Hill the highest spot in the area. Visitors can also enjoy weekend public programs and seasonal school field trips. Currently as of 8/9/21 - Mosquito Hill Nature Center This just in from Outagamie County: effective Monday, August 9, mask use will be required for everyone entering the nature center interpretive building, regardless of vaccination status. If you love a small town atmosphere this is the place to come. Rolling farm land and wooded areas are as far as you can see just outside the town. Quite and relaxing. Lots of wildlife in the area. We are centrally located to many places to visit in the area. 40 min to Oshkosh EAA - 30 min to Iola Car Show - 35 min to Appleton where the Children's Museum and Performing Arts Ctr are among many of the places to see. 50 min to Green Bay and Lambeau Field home of the Packers. Nearby Wolf River Access - Little Wolf River Tubing - Hartman Creek State Park and the Waupaca Chain O'Lakes, Mosquito Hill Nature Center, local Antiquing, coffee shop, and local eateries. The fantastic 18 hole Shamrock Heights Golf Course is just north of town approx 4 miles. Bring your bikes and peddle the back roads or find the near by bike trails. Lots of things to do to keep you busy.

Wisconsin Timber Rattlers - Minor league Baseball Team

The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are a Minor League Baseball team of the Midwest League and the High-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. They are located in Grand Chute, Wisconsin, a town on the outskirts of Appleton in the Fox Cities, and are named for the timber rattlesnake, which is more commonly found in southwest Wisconsin.
