About a 40 minute drive from the house is Glen Coe one of the most scenic Glens in Scotland and where some of the James Bond film Skyfall was filmed amongst other films, plenty of waterfalls and mountains well worth a visit.

Located in the centre of the town close to the harbour this is one of the top distilleries on the west coast go and learn how the whisky is made.

Dalmally Station is located about a 5 minutes walk from the house. this small west coast line station connects many of the town and villages between Glasgow and Oban. Trains are not that frequent so please make sure you check the timetables before planning a journey.

The Nevis Ski range is located just north of Fort William. The gondola will take yo up the mountain to the restaurant/ski slopes. There are plenty of activities in and around the area including high ropes, mountain bike track and clay pigeon shooting

Our nearest local town located on the shores of Loch Fyne, the town has a variety of shops including a very handy small Co-op, bakers, sweet shop and pharmacy. Plenty of places to eat including the George which we highly recommend.

Our nearest major town which is about a 30minute drive, Oban is one of the most important towns on the west coast and is the gateway to the island with many of the Calmac boats regularly departing from the harbour. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants as well as shops and supermarkets.
