Makarska has really nice beach Nugal, you can google it, it is quite and my favorite but you have to walk there - aprox 30 minutes. That walking is nice cause you will see our peninsula Osejava. It is good for walk and clear minds. There is also peninsula St. Peter (Sveti Petar).

2/A Biokovska cestaMountain and beautiful view
If you like hiking, you could go on Biokovo! You can also visit national park Krka or take one day trip to Island Mljet, catamaran ticket is 130kn in one way, going in the morning and coming back in the evening! You could also go with the ferry on the island Brač - one day trip. Let me know if you are interested and I could find timetable!

Buying the fresh seafood at the Makarska’s harbor fish market is an unique experience you will love! Almost every morning, beautiful Makarska’s harbor transforms into open air market where the fishermen sell seafood directly from their boats 🚣♂️.

Take app on your mobile phone
You could dowload app for your mobile phone - makarska riviera beaches, it is free and very good for all beaches near makarska. Small beach in Makarska is near hotel Osejava, it is max 10 min walking distance from apartment, main is aprox 15minutes. Better small beaches are near makarska, 10-20 minutes by car, you can check it on aplication.

Night clubs and bars
Nightclubs are “Makarana” and “Deep”, for me Depp is much better, it is in the cave and also beautiful place to visit. There are also bars near Main square and on Promenade.

Eat, sleep, enjoy, repeat!
The best restaurant is konoba “Kalalarga”, it is near main square, aprox 5 min walking distance from the apartment, they have fresh local food and good prices, just ask for something on todays menu :) There is also “Gastro Diva”, it is in the same street. On the main square is wine bar “Grabovac” and caffe bar “Yeti”. Near that is “Kala” they have finger food and nice breakfast!
