Going to a Michelin-starred chef's restaurant within a garden centre isn't the first place that comes to mind as the obvious choice however it is a beautiful place, wonderful food and although expensive for a la carte lunches / dinners, there is also a more reasonably priced cafe for lunches and snacks during the day. The Ivy in Soho is the best-known restaurant in the group, frequently attracting well-known actors as well as a local (wealthy) clientele. Booking is likely to be essential if the one in Soho is anything to go by. This restaurant promises to be an interesting and possibly a rather glamorous establishment!

Famous as Henry VIII's favourite place to ride with his hounds, this park is vast, with wild deer roaming around. Plenty of room to lose other people, with lakes and views from the top across to St Paul's cathedral. Turner painted the iconic scene of the river Thames from here (at the Star & Garter gate). c.20 mins walk from the flat. Bikes can also be rented within the park.
