This is a beautiful and peaceful place to come and meditate or walk in silence if you want to take a break from the bustle of the city without being in the wilderness. It is also an site with a historical glimpse of Yogananda and into the spiritual diversity Los Angeles has to offer. There is no membership or spiritual affiliation or requirement to come and visit the park- all are welcome and left alone. They close early- about 4pm- so check the time before you go.

Historic city park, walking distance from my apartment. For walking, jogging, reading, picnic-ing, frisbee or bicycling, There is a public library and a Holocaust Monument and Museum attached. It is right across the street from the Grove.
