Food scene

Located at the heart of downtown, Clementine is a must visit in Winnipeg for brunch. This is not your regular brunch place. They put a twist on their food, which makes them so unique. Everything I've tried on their menu are tasty and will never disappoint. To take note though, their menu items change. They also have special, limited time menu items, make sure to try them! Important things to note: -it is a popular brunch spot so expect to wait longer on busy times -It will be street parking and could be a bit challenging to get a spot.

After hearing so much things about this place, I finally visited. I honestly have only been here once. The ambiance wasn't to appealing to me, but you can sense the creativity around: from small details like the special menu chalkboard to the menu which is handwritten - good read about the history of the restaurant. It is a french restaurant and being a person new to this culture (I've always thought French cuisine is all about bread), I've been so intrigued with the menu items. I tried their mussels with jalapeno and their fried chicken special at that time. It's absolutely satisfied! I took a carrot cake for to go. :)
