Check out New Brighton Pool & Park
This is a great park for a walk, run, picnic or swim (outdoor swimming pool is open late May- early Sept). There is a small rock beach (great for kids) and great views of Burrard Inlet and Second Narrows Bridge (aka Ironworks Memorial Bridge).
