If you haven't had Phil's Coffee this is a true San Francisco experience. This location is in very charming and quiet part of Noe Valley about 10 minutes from the house.

For baked goods this is my spot. The original is in Noe Valley. There is also one in West Portal seven minutes from the house.

Sightseeing
Ingleside Sundial
This is a little gem near the house. Worth walking to and seeing.
This park is at the top of the street and has views of the ocean. There is a community garden and it's great exercise if you walk up the hill to the park.;

This is one of my favorite places in San Francisco. Even if the museum is closed it is on Corona Heights Peak with breathtaking views of San Francisco. I often go here to hike and meditate. But if the museum is on it has birds, ducks, and rabbits. A great experience for both kids and grownups.

For groceries, I go to Trader Joes which is three minutes away. Keep in mind that they close at 8PM.

Safety
Please never leave valuables in your car in San Francisco. Every single neighborhood has incidents of theft from vehicles. Even if you run into a shop for one minute, I recommend that you bring any valuables with you.
