Mountain biking enthusiasts hail this trail as the best in the area. It’s just outside the city limits, offers varying terrain through the woods, and makes for an exciting, tiring fun time!

My favorite place to hike with my pup. This area doesn’t see the pressure of Glacier Park, and dogs are allowed on the entire trail system. Oodles of lakes and ridge top hiking, with high alpine lakes and streams dotted along the way. Views galore, and mountain goats will greet you on a regular basis, especially on the Mount Aeneus and Picnic Lakes trails. A must do if you want to hike with your fur kiddos. This is big grizzly country, so always hike with bear spray!

This was partially filmed on the Middle Fork which has class IV rapids, swift currents, beautiful high canyon walks, and crystal clear waters that wind you through beautiful wilds. If you’d like something a bit more tame, float the lower section of the river from West Glacier to Blankenship Bridge, where the Middle Fork and North Fork converge. Book a trip with one of the many local guiding companies and come back with an ear to ear grin!

The Central Ave location gets super busy for morning coffee and lunch, so you might want to consider Folklore Coffee (my other recommendation under food), or the Highway 93 location (which doesn't have a lot of seating, but isn't nearly as busy).

Jake and Christi (the owners) are fantastic, and run a tight ship. This place is spotless, and they have great staff to love on your pup while you're out having fun. The daycare is awesome, and my pup attends on a regular basis. I hold doggy daycares/boarding facilities do a high standard, and Glacier K9 has exceeded them. They also separate large and small dogs, so no worries that Fido will get bowled over by the big kids. Don't forget to ask about their enhancement program, to add to our furry friends fun time. You're pup may not want to go home at the end of the day!

WAH has a staff of great veterinarians, so there's always someone available in case of emergency. I personally use them and have always felt my pup has been well taken care of. I typically use either Dr. Heather (she is their holistic vet), or Dr. Jim (the owner), but have used all the others there with excellent results.
