Great little brewery owned by our friend Stanley. They have always got a great seasonal beer on tap and have some outstanding regulars. Great spot to play some board games and get the distinct Portland craft brewing experience.
There is a Thai food truck in front of the brewery that is the top rated Thai restaurant within 2 miles of the house. Highly recommended!

This busy tourist stop is busy for a reason. One of the most beautiful waterfalls you will ever come across. Well worth the drive and the wait for parking.

The MAX is great if you are going downtown
There are a few MAX stations just over a block away from the house. They cost $2.50 to ride and will take you as far as you want. If you're going to the Moda Center or anywhere downtown, it's the perfect way to get around. The city also recently increased security and fare enforcement, so the MAX is safer than ever.

Portland is big on recycling
To avoid getting heckled by locals, recycle things when you can :)
